Jacqueline Martinez is a Texas based artist who has recently earned her BFA degree with a concentration in drawing as well as a minor in East Asian Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019. Martinez's art practive involves transforming a drawing into a three dimensional form, often incorporating her studies in South East Asia through cultural references, language as well as her personal background. Martinez has had two internships, one in 2018 at the International Museum of Art and Science under the Archival Department, and as a gallery work alongside the New York Sketchbook Project as she has grown to appreciate the work they've done and will continue to participate in their projects.
